Over the past few weeks, as soon as Undertaker vs. CM Punk in a submission match was announced for Breaking Point, the majority of the internet wrestling community has been hoping to see CM Punk bring back the anaconda vice. It appeared to everyone that WWE had no interest of bringing back the move. After Punk’s matches with Jeff & Matt Hardy with no hint of the vise, the internet (especially youtube) wrestling community began to give up hope.
Last Friday Night on SmackDown, it appeared to most wrestling fans that when CM Punk came out to do his speech about drugs and prescription medication, it was the same old routine. But if you go on YouTube, or somewhere, and listen to Punk’s speech one more time you can hear a hidden message. Right before Matt Hardy interrupted him, he said, “I do have one vice, I’d say it’s more of an anaconda.” If you translate those words, you think he’s talking about drugs but those who can “talk wrestling” know that this is a sign of the anaconda vise which will be kept as a “surprise” until Breaking Point.
